Meeting Features

Anti-Cloud Secure Meet (ACSM) does not require a client install or browser plugins. It runs in whatever web browser you prefer to use, on whatever device you prefer to use (including mobile phones and tablets).

Joining

To join an ACSM meeting, simply open a room URL (https://my-company.acsm.myanti.cloud/join/HelloWorld) with any web browser.

If the meeting has not yet started, the Who Are You page will be displayed. If the meeting has already started, the Join Meeting page will be displayed.

Who Are You

If the meeting has not yet started, the Who Are You page will be displayed.

Moderator

If you are a moderator of the room, click the Login button to log in with your moderator username and password. Once you log in, select the room name, and click the Join Room button to start the meeting as the moderator.

Guest

If you are not a moderator of the room, please wait. Once a moderator starts the meeting, the Join Room button will become active. Once that happens, click the Join Room button to go to the Join Meeting page as a guest.

Join Meeting

If the meeting has already started, the Join Meeting page will be displayed to each guest who joins.

Adjust Settings

This page gives you the opportunity to adjust your initial video and audio settings before joining the meeting. You can also change all these settings (except for your display name) later on after you have joined the meeting.

To adjust your settings, use the following buttons:

To change the video and audio devices used by ACSM, use dropdowns below the buttons:

  1. Click the first dropdown to change the video input device ACSM will use.
  2. Click the second dropdown to change the audio input device ACSM will use.
  3. Click the third dropdown to change the audio output device ACSM will use.

A preview of the video feed that you will send to other users when you join the meeting will be shown in a small display next to the above controls. (Until you actually join the meeting, however, no one else will be able to see or hear you.)

Ready to Join

When you’re ready to join the meeting, enter the display name you want to use for the meeting in the Enter Your Name or Email field, then click the Join Meeting button.

Room Password

If the moderator has set a password for the room, you will be prompted to enter the room password before joining the meeting. Enter the room password in the Enter the Room Password field, then click the OK button.

If the moderator has not set a room password, you will not see a password prompt.

Room Lobby

If the moderator has turned on the lobby feature for the room, the moderator must approve your request to join the meeting before you will be joined to the meeting. While you are waiting, an Asking to Join Meeting dialog will appear. The moderator will be prompted to accept or reject you request to join, based on the display name you entered on the Join Meeting page.

If the moderator has not turned on the lobby feature, you will not have to wait to join.

In the Meeting

Only after you click the Join Meeting button, enter the room password (if necessary), and are accepted from the room lobby (if necessary), will you join the meeting. Once you join the meeting, you will see the video and hear the audio of the other participants in the meeting, and they will be able to see and hear you (unless you have adjusted your settings beforehand).
